Members of the Interregional Public Organization of Conservation of Birds of Prey and Falconry Development «Association of Falconers» may be citizens of Russia and foreign citizens, and public organizations as legal entities.

Admission to membership of the Association is made at the Board meeting of the Association, individually, on the basis of personal statement after an examination on the Falconer’s minimum.

Falconer’s minimum accepted by the authorized persons of the Board of the Association. Certification of the candidate in members of the Association held in the form of exam on the Falconer’s minimum. The exam consists of questions in the form of a test, which includes three sections. In assessing a candidate’s knowledge accounted skills and experience, competence in the field of birds of prey and management of falconry.

MEMBERSHIP OF THE ASSOCIATION of FALCONERS

Members of the Interregional Public Organization of Conservation of Birds of Prey and Falconry Development «Association of Falconers» can be:

1. citizens of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens and stateless persons who meet the following requirements:

  • 1) at the age of 18 years, who share the goals and directions of activity of the Association, recognizing its Charter;
  • 2) who get attestation and have passed Falconer’s minimum;
  • 3) who paid the admission fee, every year and timely pay membership fees and accept personal participation in the work of the Association.

2. public associations-legal entities:

  • 1) who expressed their solidarity with the goals and activities of the Association, recognizing the Charter;
  • 2) who paid the admission fee, every year and timely pay their membership fees;
  • 3) who promote the activities of the Association, including through the financing of activities.

Admission to the Association of physical persons — citizens made at the Board meeting of the structural unit of the Association of the regional office, individually, on the basis of personal statements after an examination on the Falconer’s minimum. Falconer’s minimum accepted by the authorized persons of the Board of the Association.

Admission to the Association of public associations — legal entities is made by the Board of the Association on the basis of the application with the relevant decisions of their governing bodies.

Certification of the candidate in members of the Association held in the form of exam on the Falconer’s minimum. Falconer’s minimum consist of questions in the form of a test, include three sections:

  • 1) the History of falconry (the international, Russian); legislation regulating falconry; art and traditions of falconry.
  • 2) Biology, Zoology, anatomy and taxonomy of birds of prey; species used in falconry, their biotope, the distinctive signs of nature; certain types of production, the constituent objects of falconry; disease of birds of prey, their prevention and treatment; ethology; a system of measures on protection and conservation of birds of prey.
  • 3) the Practice of falconry: equipment and birds of prey (ammunition); principles of instruction and content of hunting birds; the rules and terms of falconry. To offset the Falconer’s minimum, the applicant must correctly answer 70% of the questions of the test. When assessing a candidate’s knowledge accounted skills and experience, competence in the field of birds of prey and management of falconry.
