Interregional Public Organization of conservation of birds of prey and falconry Development «Association of Falconers» is a public association, organized on the principles of voluntariness, legality publicity and self-government, for the promotion, coordination and organization of activities aimed at the protection of birds of prey and development of hunting with birds of prey, based on voluntary membership hunters-falconers and birds of prey fanciers of regions of the Russian Federation, and legal entities — public associations established on the initiative of citizens on the basis of common interests in falconry and protection birds of prey, to protect these interests and attainment of common targets.
The Association unites falconers and birds of prey fanciers on a voluntary basis, wishing their activity to participate in the protection of birds of prey, develop and promote hunting with hunting birds.
The Association was established with the purpose to promote the realization and protection of rights of its members, to meet their amateur interests in falconry and protection of birds of prey, carrying out of sports activities, nature conservation, enrichment of hunting fauna, development of the hunting dog breeding.
The Association is a public organization, has interregional status and is valid on the whole territory of the Russian Federation.
By the decision of the Presidium of the IAF on 43 General meeting of delegates of November 22, 2012, the Association accepted into the International Association for Falconry and Conservation of Birds of Prey (IAF), and given the status of full member-correspondent of the IAF, so «Association of Falconers» has an international status!
